Project: “Take A Chance on Me”

A 1990’s Victorian Farmhouse in London, Kentucky

This home is our 3rd personal home purchase and current primary residence. The project name stems from the absolutely unhinged circumstance in which we found and renovated the home while not being the sole legal owners. We are now, no worries. Send me an email for the full story on that.

Renovating under pressure

How do I make that many choices in 9 months?

It’s 2021. We have no kids. We just recently escaped financial ruin with the launch of a successful business. We get a call, our offer is accepted, we now “own” a second home. Two months later, we have a 10 year old daughter and a baby on the way! The renovation was a whirlwind (and NOT complete in 9 months by the way, HAHA).

Exploring “Style”

Years of self-discovery

With all the information I learned from our first renovation in tow, I had a decision to make at the beginning of this one. Design a period-appropriate victorian home, or create something more modern inspired by my personal preferences. I decided to land somewhere in the middle and have so much fun exploring the potential for this 6,000 square foot house.
